Rent An Attire

“In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”— Coco ChaneL

As a fashion blogger I am always on the go. I love to explore new fashion, trends, concepts etc. The idea of renting out bridal and other designer wear always fascinated me. So when the lovely Laveena and I got chatting I was very excited to know about her venture Rent An Attire.

Life is too short to wear same clothes on every occasion and buying new clothes everytime comes with a big hole in our pocket.Ladies, we need not worry more about it anymore as we have “Rent An Attire” in our town which has solution to this problem of ours.

I decided to check out the store and understand this very popular and trending fad.

The store is in Warje and it took me almost an hour plus to reach there, however it was totally worth it. My first impression was just WOW! The studio has been done up beautifully complete with subtle lighting and all the outfits are displayed systematically. To complete the look Rent An Attire also offers a classy collection of jewelry which goes well with the outfits.

As I looked into the collection I got excited to try almost all of them and I was happy that the team could help me suggest what to try on, based on my body type, skin tone and personality (mind you, yes they do all that….isn’t it nice!!)

Finally, the team suggested a Peach Flowy Gown which was a perfect evening wear. The fabric was pure georgette so the fall was lovely, it made me feel like a princess. The bodice has delicate embroidery which kept the look minimal yet dressy for a formal occasion.

I also wanted to try an ethnic wear so i picked a Pink Bridal Lehenga. No points for guessing that (wink wink). The fabric was net and it had golden embroidery all over. It was just perfect for any modern yet classsy bride.

I absolutely loved both the outfits and how Laveena and her team styled me for both the looks. For the gown my make up was light and more earthy. Subtle shades of pink and peach complimented the outfit totally. For the lehenga, i chose to have heavy make up as it was a bridal look.

Rent An Attire works on a brilliant concept – Try It, Book It and Flaunt It. You can visit the store or the facebook page to check out the collection.

When you decide on one piece, you book it for yourself and pay a booking amount while booking. You get the outfit a day or two before your function. Look your best, make a style statement wearing a designer piece and get those admiring looks. Once you are done, you just have to return the garment (yes, that’s true you really do not have to worry about dry cleaning).

Rent An Attire ensures that each of their outfits is freshly laundered and ironed before it is sent out to the client. Out of curiosity I asked Laveena why she doesn’t ask her clients to dry clean and return. Her answer bowled me, I know exactly how my clients would expect their Attires to be delivered, can’t leave it to anyone else.

Laveena is a gem of a lady which reflects not only in her personality, but also in her passion for her work .Her commitment and dedication to her work is exemplary.

They have wonderful membership schemes, in case you need the attire for longer days or want to take the attire out of the town….. that to me sounded very comforting

Also, Rent An Attire goes Pan India with the recent store launch at New Delhi. Another store in Pune and Dehradun are in the pipeline.

I would like to sincerely thank Laveena and her team as well for the opportunity to speak about the brand. They were lovely and bubbling with enthusiasm and I had a great experience. 🙂
