How many women get to realise their dream and set a wonderful example for other entrepreneurs? Go against odds and follow your passion! Only those who have the sheer will power and grit to carve a niche for themselves.
Biba’s founder Meena Bindra is one such inspiring lady. When she started out in 1988 from her home, she didnt know that Biba would one day become a name to reckon with. A favourite brand amongst women who have an eye for class and love the ethnic yet modern vibe their outfit lends to their personality.
BIBA has around 150 brand outlets and 225 multi brand outlets. In 2014-2015, BIBA recorded a whooping sales of 600 crores.
In 2014, BIBA launched a new line of ethnic wear under the brand name Rangriti. This label was particularly launched to tap the fast growing college segment of the upcoming metro cities. Simultaneously BIBA also launched its own e – commerce portal to break in the country’s steadily growing e – commerce space.
I absolutely love the brand. Bright, beautful prints, comfortable fabrics, versatile styles – chic and ethnic is what the brand means to me.
I picked up an Anarkali sometime back and as always it got lost in my closet. 😉
Sharing some pictures. Hope you guys like them.
Until next time stay Fab and keep Scribbling! ❤
