Beach Wrapping!

When the beach beckons, the stylist behind me isn’t far. Much to the amusement of my family, I was scurrying about trying to find the perfect wrap dresses and accessories to go with my swim suits. We were doing a holiday in Spain, and the Mediterranean demanded new beach wear. šŸ˜‰

A wrap is any kind of a clothing, wrapped around the body either upper and lower body separately or as a whole. Mostly, traditional wraps do not come with any buttons or closure, however nowadays there could be a hook or a velcro strap attached for convenience. As much as I love the traditional ones where one can explore different styles and variations, it’s far more convenient to just slip on something. especially when you have a hyper 7 year old boy who can’t contain his excitement when he sees water. Wonder where he gets it from. šŸ˜‰

So, I played clever and got myself these two beauties and I was sorted for my beachy days. šŸ™‚

I picked up both in Spain from Zara. I fell in love with the white one instantly, well firstly because it was white and secondly because it was net. The second one was a beige one and I loved the semi translucent fabric. Very apt for the beach I would say. šŸ˜‰ Also, as compared to the white one this was also quick drying and could be put in the washing machine. The white one required gentle hand wash. Nevertheless, they both served my purpose for my awesome fun beach vacation.

Sharing some pics featuring the wraps.
