Mystiq Elements – An Ayurvedic Luxury

So it was Products Review time again and that sure keeps me really happy. 😉

I got a bag full of goodies from Mystiq Elements a Pune based start up which makes Ayurvedic Products for Skin, Body and Hair. With a plethora of products available today, the founder Dr.Malvika Mehta felt that they need to manufacture their own line in house. She had her own reasons for starting her own business which officially launched in March 2017.  In her words – ” I wanted to create products to cater to the overall well being of people. My products are made with the essence of nature, handcrafted with lots of love and purity in all its ingredients.”

In addition to this, the company’s philosophy is quite interesting. They believe that the right kind of business has the power to make a difference in the world, and the best way to convince people is to lead by example. They envision a world of individuality along with a community spirit and a commitment to trading fairly. Wow, now that’s truly noble!

They regularly update their products, according to client’s requirements and the latest market trends. The mission is to reach out to the masses, help them cleanse their body internally, thereby beautify externally with the best quality products at the most competitive pricing.

Acne Wash:- At first I wasn’t sure if it would work for me as I have clear skin. However, off late some eruptions have started coming up thanks to bad health and stress, so I decided to go ahead with it. And the result was great. I could feel a visible difference in just 2-3 washes. I would highly recommend it to people with oily or combination skin type. Make sure  you use a good moisturiser as the ingredients contain neem and turmeric extracts which tend to dry the skin up.

Aloe Gel:- I am a big fan of Aloe Vera, until recently I had 2 or 3 plants floating in my balcony when my gardener finally decided one was enough. 😉 He even asked me Ma’am – do you make stuff out of Aloe? 😉 It is indeed magical to use, whether it is to hydrate the skin, treat acne, fight wrinkles, heal bruises and wounds.. so much you can do. So when I saw this Gel I was super excited to try it out. And I wasn’t disappointed, the gel indeed works wonders. The best part I needed to use just a drop or two for my entire face and neck area. My skin felt soft, smooth and supple all day. The instructions say that it would also work as a make up base, hmmmm that would be interesting to try out. 🙂

Face Pack:- I am very wary of face packs, thanks to my sensitive skin. I always end up getting some sort of break outs and allergies, sometimes even with natural ingredients. 😦  So I applied this one also very cautiously. Initially my skin itched a lot, however the after result was amazing. My face felt throughly scrubbed and cleansed. The application was quite simple and easy, you just have to dip a wet brush in the bottle and apply evenly. Yes, can’t get more convenient than that. If you have extremely dry skin, add 1 tbsp of curd and apply as directed above. The pack contains multani mitti which works brilliantly on my oily skin.

Body Scrubs:- Most of us end up ignoring our bodies as hair and skin are the visible ones. I was also one of those, until I was introduced to Body Scrubs and I have never looked back ever since. 😉 Well to scrub my back yes.. lollzzz.  Scrubbing your body is extremely important just as much as washing your face is. Without regular exfoliation, you can end up with clogged pores, which block moisture from getting into the deeper layers, and creating a hard, unattractive exterior. So the key to soft and supple skin is regular exfoliation. I added 2-3 spoons of curd. Once it dries off wash with water. The instructions say it is safe on the face as well but I did not try it. I liked the result but expected a little more. My skin stayed soft but not for  very long. It could be due to the weather too so not sure.

Activated Charcoal Hair Pack:- I love looking after my hair, and now thanks to controlling my urge of chopping them off at regular intervals, they have also become quite long. So that means more care and regular oiling and nourishment. I was super thrilled to receive it as I absolutely love home remedies – cost effective and natural ingredients. 🙂 This is an activated charcoal pack and you can add milk or water along with curd. My hair felt extremely soft and lustrous after application. Since I colour my hair, the ends usually get rough. After 2 applications I could feel a difference at the ends as well.

Coffee Scrub:- No points for guessing this was an absolute favourite. Had to be, it has the word coffee in it. 😉 Jokes aside, I was intrigued with all the ingredients not just coffee, it also has essential oils and organic honey in it. Exfoliating helps remove the dead skin cells and other remaining impurities. It also helps keep the complexion clear and skin looks healthier.

Thank you so much Mystiq Elements for specially curating these products and sending them to me for my reviews. I loved using each one of them and I wish you Good Luck and God Speed.
