Hey Folks, how’s it going? I have been my usual lazy af self, however in my defence my laptop rather both of them crashed and it has been quite a struggle to try and get them fixed or buy a new one. Still not decided on that though. But, I stopped procrastinating and decided to do a quick blog post for you guys. So yay.. 🙂
The second half of the year is already here and 2018 hits us in just 4 effing months. I have no clue how my year has gone by so quickly. Any ways the good thing, now the festive season starts so time to start flaunting some ethnic swag. 😉
A close friend had her house warming celebration where I was invited. She was going to be wearing a saree so she asked me also to wear one. I love the whole nine yards so was super excited to drape a beautiful one. I don’t have a heavy collection of sarees simply because I always knew I would never wear them so often. I have picked out each and every saree personally, some I have designed myself as well.
For the function, I picked out a light blue georgette saree which has overall bead work on it. Since I got married young and had little interest in ethnic wear, all my blouses are really simple and mostly sleeveless or halter tie ups. Well, when I was a teenager, that used to be a trend.
It was only much later I realised the importance of a blouse to complete the entire look of a saree. Since this was a one colour saree with a hint of silver work, I teamed it with a bright silver blouse. My entire look was instantly spruced up. I teamed it with silver jhumkas and matching bangles.
Sharing some pics of my look. Hope you like them.
Until next time Stay Fab and Keep Scribbling. 🙂
