Some months back I collaborated with a Saree brand for some street and casual styling session. I usually always check before hand the clothes I have to wear, so that I can plan my looks, jewelry accordingly. However, with this particular brand somehow I couldn’t get a chance to do so. I wasn’t sure whether I was in for a shock or surprise.
Anyways, I landed up for the shoot and after seeing the gorgeous sarees I realized that some surprises are god sent. I fell in love with the drapes. Unique, modern, contemporary and a lot more is what defines SUTA. The brainchild and baby of two gorgeous sisters their sarees are a must have for any saree lover.
A wide variety of fabrics, colours and delightful prints and patterns, it just makes it extremely hard to choose one. The shoot went off well and I came back dreaming about those sarees. Finally, after much deliberation, I chose a white mul saree for myself. I ordered it, the process and delivery was quick and smooth. I also had a few queries which were answered immediately. Thank you so much. 🙂
So I had the saree, next big step was which blouse to pair it with. The saree I bought doesn’t come with a running blouse and even if it did, I wouldn’t have worn it since I like to experiment and mix and match. I think white and red compliment each other so beautifully and gracefully. There is a purity attached with passion in these two colors. Isn’t this what pretty much every woman is? A mix of calm and chaos.
I was sure this was the right look to highlight the saree as well. So, I styled my red halter blouse with this pristine mul saree. Some bright colorful jewelry, a red bindi, kohled eyes and a brigh red lipstick and I was ready to be clicked.
Since the saree is a plain white, my dear photographer friend decided to add some elements of color so we used this dupatta as a backdrop. I think the red just completed the ethereal white.
Sharing some pictures with you all. Hope you like them.
