Don’t we all enjoy the local streets of any city? Whether it is the food or the local shopping, the old stores there charm is irreplaceable. The small by lanes, old stores, some authentic stuff which you find nowhere, all that you get on the streets. If you have stayed long enough in a city, those streets and everything about them become an integral part of your life. And of course you can manage some discounts as well because of your regular shopping. See the focus has to be clear. 😉
I absolutely love MG road and last so many years it has just kept growing on me. Many years back my work place was there so it was just a hop away, however over the years and with easier access to online shopping or specific stores in Malls, going there has gone down tremendously. 😦
I keep visiting though thanks to the odd jobs that cannot happen anywhere but there. Also, a favourite cafe of mine is there so my attachment will always be there. And it is a treat each time, eating the street food and the persuasive street hawkers who make sure you don’t leave without buying at least one thing from them (it never stops at one of course).
So while endlessly browsing, I came across this maroon kurti. I am not a big fan of the colour but the fabric and detailing appealed to me. It is crinkled cotton and has a pretty off white tie up. The ruffle s on the sleeves looked really girly and pretty. And anything which has white am sold. 😉 However, I wasn’t too thrilled about wearing it as a kurti. So decided to be a tad edgy and wear it as a dress. It has high slits which looked really chic with a dash of sexy. 😉
I wore it for a movie night as I like to dress comfortably if I have to sit for long hours. I styled it with colorful juttis to add a pop of color. And of course the bright lipper.
Sharing some pics with you. Do tell me about your favourite city spots, especially the shopping ones. 😉
Until next time Stay Fab and Keep Scribbling! 🙂
